KHM hosts
Kodiak and Alaskan Vendors
The Kodiak History Museum not only preserves the cultural impact of art, but supports existing artists that make up both Kodiak and Alaska.
KHM allows for more accessibility to artists by offering both Wholesale and Consignment.
Wholesale
KHM purchases wholesale at 60% of retail, transferring ownership of art to the Museum. For example: If you would like to sell art for $100.00 in store, the Museum would purchase said art for $60.00. If you would like to receive $100.00 for art, the Museum prices said art at $166.66.
Consignment
Consignment is the process of temporary relinquishment of art. The Museum will host your artwork in the Store for a period of 6 months, processing any sales and sending artists 75% of retail price. For example: if you would like to sell art for $100.00 in store, the Museum will send $75.00 after art is sold. If you would like to receive $100.00 after art is sold, the Museum will price said art as $133.33.
