Wanda Scholze was born in Fairbanks and has lived in Alaska all her life. She grew up on the Kenai Peninsula and in Anchorage, moving to Kodiak in 1988 to raise her family. She enjoys creative expression through photography, drawing, painting, encaustics and woodworking. She also enjoys gardening, hiking and bird watching which provides much of her inspiration.
